Rise of the Whicans
After watching the recap of Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s confirmation hearing, I was struck by all of the angry Whicans (white Republicans) lashing out at her. Sotomayor's crime, as Bill Mahr eloquently noted, was being one of those elitist, HBCU-educated Latinas who dominated this country economically, politically, and socially for the last two hundred years or so, keeping their boots on the necks of hardworking white men her ancestors exploited and enslaved. It’s bad enough that her people turned the motherland, the tiny and innocent island nation of England, into a protectorate of Puerto Rico, ghettoized English, and tried to axe Whican history month. Even worse, the elitist black President is stacking the Supreme Court already filled with people who look just like him!

Fortunately, there are bravely balding Whicans in the Senate taking on this “wise Latina” with their sagging jowls of justice. Who is she to think white men can't judge? They won’t bend over for her for even eight minutes like they did eight years for a Whican President and Vice President whose first and last names are the beginning and end of a bad sex joke. But, it’s a Whican thing. You wouldn’t understand.

While Sotomayor has a lot shoulders to stand on in her pursuit of the Supreme Court, the Whicans will also take a stand, especially in her way. As, they rise, walkers and hospice nurses in tow, centuries of Latina domination could fall.

5. That is exactly what I was thinking.
Don't insult the Pagans either. Why not some nice Christians instead?
