They sure do grow a bumper crop of stupid politician in TX. Cornyn is walking a tightrope here. He's up for re-election in a state with a large hispanic population. What to do, what to do?

You know this dude has to have tons of skelton in his closet...he sets off my BS detector every time I see this turd with ears.

He's also running the RSCC...took over from his good buddy Romeo Ensign. Yep, he's gotta put on the false pretenses, but the code speak is out in full force. Miguel Strada = Good minority...Sonia Sotomayor = Terrorist. So far none of these asshats have tried to really look at her judgements...it's all gotcah soundbites and pet issues. They're only playing to their shrinking horde.

4. A Cornyn story I love.......

Long story short: a group of us were touring the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg (Tx) a few years ago. One of our group members was a WWII vet, served all thru the Pacific in invasion forces for all the big, tough battles. He acted as our very fine "docent" during the museum tour.

Cornyn was there at the same time, dedicating something. Our vet friend was shepherded forward to meet Senator A**hole, and got to shake his hand.

Later that day we were laughing and talking about our museum tour, etc. This vet kept shaking his head in astonishment and saying: "Cornyn has the softest hands I've ever felt on a man".

You could tell that our vet buddy didn't think that a man with such soft hands could have made much of a contribution to this world.
