from the animal sexuality experts at the American Family Association:

Frisco's 'gay' penguins go straight
Pete Chagnon - OneNewsNow - 7/16/2009 5:30:00

A pro-family advocate says the latest developments at the San Francisco Zoo show that nature prefers heterosexual relationships.

According to The Examiner, Harry and Pepper -- the zoo's same-sex penguin couple -- have split up over a female. The two penguins formed a bond when both helped raise a chick, but when zookeepers introduced a female named Linda, Harry rejected Pepper and both had to be separated. According to the zookeepers, Harry and Linda successfully nested later on.

Peter LaBarbera with Americans for Truth about Homosexuality says homosexual activists used another "gay penguin" example to normalize their lifestyle -- even turning the concept into a children's book titled And Tango Makes Three.

"Well, I mean, the fact is you can find examples of eating their young, eating other animals' young," he notes. "It's pretty pathetic to turn to turn to animals to guide how humans should behave. It's just ridiculous."

He adds that it was interesting to see the supposedly "gay" penguins go straight.

"Wayne Besen of Truth Wins Out and Ex-Gay Watch and all the radical homosexuals better get their nature examples right," LaBarbera urges. "We wouldn't want to see a flurry of 'ex-gay' animals become available to the pro-family world now."

1. which is it?

Well, is it ridiculous to consider animals, or not? If you're going to criticize gay activists for holding up penguins as an example, you don't get to use those same penguins whenever they appear to support *your* position.

3. Were there only same sex penquins available to start
and then when a different sex penquin shows up they are suppose to ignore it if they weren't same sex to start?

Maybe the two penquins wanted companionship when because there weren't any other penquins around.
