I don't usually post examples of Freeper Racism...
...because its hardly news that there's bigotry at FreeRepublic. I would venture to say that any DU'er who enters that site and flips to any topic at random can find something offensive to the rest of the country in less than 5 minutes.

But this time, they've outdone themselves.

I simply wanted to gauge their reaction to Meghan McCain (correctly) referring to Joe the Plumber as a "dumbass." I knew that they dislike McCain and his whole family, but JTP (as they've referred to him) has been such an obvious embarrassment to the Conservative movement that I figured at least one or two of them would concur.

And this was the third comment:

"If Meghan were Jewish, she’d be Princess (sic)"

Lovely. Religion wasn't even the topic of discussion here, but in putting down the very blonde, very Christian Ms. McCain, this Neanderthal decided to reach for a crude stereotype about Jewish women. Nice. Somehow a topic not even relating to minorities leads immediately to--

But then I reminded myself, it's POSSIBLE the Freeper is himself Jewish. And as a Jew, I can attest to the fact that we often do make those jokes about ourselves (see: Mel Brooks' Spaceballs), though not usually on political forums. Perhaps I can deduce this guy's religion if I examine him a little closer...

And that's when I saw the Freeper's signature:

"The boy's war in Detriot (sic) has already cost more then the war in Iraq."

You've got to be KIDDING me. The BOY?! What the fuck is this, 1950's Mississippi? You refer to a 47-year-old man, President of the goddamn Country, as a fucking BOY?! As in, "Git away from that there drinkin' fountain, boy, or I'll have you strung up?"

I mean, forget the violent racial implications of "the war in Detroit" and read that sentence again. Barack Obama isn't even mentioned by name. Only after reaching the part about the war in Iraq (a reference to Bush, whom I'm sure they're oh-so-proud of) did I understand who "the boy" is. Not "that boy," in a colloquial sense, as in "That boy Eli Manning can sure run." THE. BOY. That's actually this Freeper's nickname for Obama.

Because Barack H. Obama, Commader-and-Chief of these United States, is a black man. And when you're all alone with your like-minded white bigot buddies, it's still alright to refer to an African American male, no matter what his age, breeding, or job title, as "the boy."

Can you tell this pissed me off? :grr::mad::banghead:

6. I believe Bloo's trying to say that you need to consider who you're dealing with when
giving the benefit of the doubt . . . some people are a long way from earning that benefit.

7. Naw, in a way, that'd make me as bigoted as they are.
I don't like labeling people racists unless I'm absolutely sure. And yes, I'm 100% sure this particular guy is a genuine bonafide racist.

11. Right, but, you can still allow yourself to consider that the likelihood
of racism from this group is going to be dramatically higher than the average population.

After all they are his Wars. Does this make me a bigot too?
I admit I have a Bias against *bush and his ilk.

8. Thank you for spreading their hate here on DU.
We know they're f*cking idiots so leave their stupid hate speech on their stupid ass site.

My new theory is that the only people from DU who even go over to that stupid site must be freepers themselves.
