Statutes: Sotomayor. Intention. Bribes Congress. My suggestions.
There were some fascinating questions passionately asked by Republicans this morning – Thursday -- some that focused on courts writing the law and Congress and bribes.

It prompted some thoughts about how we can change things for our benefit.

Prior to the text of the legislation, the public should be able to read the following information to know more about what led to the statute, for the record and for the edification of constituents and all citizens.

Each Congressperson should write their INTENT for initializing or supporting the filing of the legislation if they are on record for authoring, supporting, or endorsing submission - or making changes.

Each Congressperson who votes for it or against it should state whether they have received any contribution, gift, favor, privilege, of any persuasive or forced purpose, including a monetary value to them, their relatives, their partners, their former firm, any government or entity in another country, world wide organization, racial – gender – social – financial – industrial – union – trade - religious organization they belong to or have belonged to in their lifetime or will belong to within the following two years.

The people of this country should then consider their own oversight organization to examine the above submissions of the Congresspeople and consider organizing to monitor and publicize it, debate it, and point out conflicts to the remainder of the people in the country.

The citizens need and deserve their own database of Congresspeople and their involvement in and with those who are demanding, requesting, lobbying for changes.

A request – if you make a joke about this suggestion, please also consider suggesting an alternative idea for getting something done about our big problem in our life in this country. We can’t go on being cynically accepting of this destruction in our lives. The Congresspeople now enjoy a freedom that is benefiting a few, not all citizens through a widespread and seriously growing dis-ease of influence.
