Poll question: Is the NAACP still relevant? |
|
This was a story on the CBS Evening News. They asked the question, provided views from people on both sides of the question, but never answered it.
What do you think?

3. I visited the Springfield Race Riot exhibit and walking tour last summer. |
|
The 1908 Springfield (IL) Race Riot was the impetus for the founding of the NAACP. Visiting it made me realize that we've made progress, but have much to learn and a long way to go.
Yes, the NAACP is relevant.

7. They're not irrelevant, so I suppose the answer is yes. |
