Florida Judge Who Struck Down Gay Adoption Ban Demoted

The Miami-Dade Florida circuit court judge who ruled Florida's shameful gay adoption ban unconstitutional in November 2008, 16a.jpga case currently being appealed, has been demoted.

For over 15 years, Judge Cindy Lederman served as top administrative judge over Miami-Dade's juvenile courts. The announcement came from the new Chief Justice over Miami courts, who says he "wants new perspectives and leadership." Translation: "we need someone who doesn't like gays and will keep the bigoted status quo."

This is a huge loss of the juvenile courts and for all for all fair-minded Floridians.

we really need a GLBT leader to organize a massive rally down here and to say we're here and we care for, serve, make you laugh, govern, protect you and so much more - and we're going to strike for a week so you see how bad service overall would be without us -

seriously, if they would do this, and none of us would do anything, and we all took our vacations, or called off, and refused to do anything they would see how many people this bullshit law effects ---


and for ANY one on this website not to fully back their GLBT brothers & sisters in having the same identical rights to adopt as they have is repulsive......
