2. OMG WTF teh fotos will b fake!11!!1!
The giant conspiracy that perpetrated the moon landing HOAX is obviously still in effect! THEY still run the whole puppet show, and will continue to perpetrate their LIES!!11!!

I can't wait for all of the inevitable posts about how the lighting and the shadows are all obviously wrong, etc., etc. :crazy: :tinfoilhat:

7. First they "touch up" the video....

....and then they submit proof in the form of these additional photos.

They must be desperate that the scam is in danger of being exposed.

3. Very sweet. The LRO entered orbit June 23 I wasn't expecting pics this soon.

I predict protective coverings to keep people from stepping on the footprints at some point in the future.

NASA erased more than 300,000 tapes in the 80s to re-use them.
Likely most were not important. This one was.

Even movie companies have lost movie masters and allowed them to degrade, burn, or mildew.
Sometimes they can be restored sometimes not and that is in a company for whom the footage is the end product.
