1. shouldn't Ricci be bankrupt by now with all the court costs he had to pay
for all the frivolous lawsuits?

Or is he getting "special" treatment from empathic white billionaires ... ?

4. What frivoulus lawsuit?
He was in the right... the city was in the wrong... the lower court was in the wrong... he stood up for his right all the way to the highest court in the land... the SCOTUS agreed with him... he won... case closed.

6. His lawsuit was perfectly reasonable. Sotomayor made a mistake.
However, I don't think that disqualifies her for SCOTUS.

11. i agree on both counts
the decision was bad. the summary paragraph response was even worse. it was incredibly dismissive and deserves condemnation. however, IN GENERAL, as a jurist, i think she makes sound decisions. she's smart, well educated, and even repubs have to admit, she is "in the mainstream".

13. Sotomayor was not the deciding vote.
If Sotomayor was wrong so was the other two judges.

They followed the law as it pertained to that jurisdiction; the Supremes applied "national" standards.

Although, they couldn't see fit to do that for Ledbetter, but that's an other story.

3. I understand he has dyslexia
Which leads to the difficulties Mr. Ricci has with the printed word.

Contrasts nicely with following responses.

16. you're forgiven
that's part of what makes this case so compelling. so many people go "oh, a white guy complaining about racism" and INSTANTLY "turn off". i think that's unfortunate. i think it's also inspiring that a dyslexic has worked as hard as he can, had NO special assistance at the test taking site, and got one of the top scores on a test that is very text heavy. it's quite an inspiring story.
