Buy a New Truck, Get an AK-47
The owner of a Missouri dealership is giving away free AK-47s with the purchase of any truck.

2. Great marketing!
Especially since the "Free AK-47" is actually a $450 certificate toward the purchase of any firearm.....but one has to have a CCW to use it.

The dealership isn't giving away a gun, it's encouraging people to take a gun safety course...with the payoff being a $450 credit toward a gun.

8. Thread is a dupe...
but, yeah... it's a wonderful thing and wonderful place to live where citizens can not only keep and possess firearms, but where they can exercise that right by means of something as simple as a "give away".

The real beauty of the promotion is that gun-grabber heads must be exploding over it.

That alone is worth enjoying and chuckling about.

No :sarcasm: tag needed.

6. Semi-auto only.
Civilians may not possess fully-automatic weapons without a Class III federal firearms licence, which is very expensive to get and requires passing extensive FBI background checks. NOT an AK-47, not as most people think of 'AK-47', anyway. Also, parts of Missouri are very rural, and I can see that in such areas, at present, hunting for food is probably going to be something a lot of people might be doing, in tough economic times...so, I really fail to see where the problem lies. (Apart from people getting their knickers in a twist over 'AK-47', that is.)

11. Yeah, that's the perfect weapon for suicide by cop.
Geeze! It's crap like that that keeps the heat on to ban firearms. Thanks a whole bunch.

15. An Airsoft gun or kitchen knife will just as easily...
get you riddled with bullets if pointed at a cop in a threatening manner.

Let'em keep the heat on.

I've heard the same "it's crap like that" attitude/sentiment from the Fudds and trap shooters with regards to "evil black rifles".

I see no reason to back down or tone things down so the bug-eyed, bed-wetting pinheads at the Brady Campaign, various state legislatures and US Congress can put more "heat" on us... if they can't find a reason, they'll simply make one up.
