Did anyone catch this interesting statement by Kathleen Sebelius on the Daily Show?

I don't know if this was a mistake or if this is what the policy will be.
During the interview she said that people who have the option to get insurance from their job.
Will not be allowed to pick from the market place they are going to set up which will include the public option.

I thought Obama clearly said you could pick the public option if you are not happy with your current plan.

I get there is a lot of rumors going around.
Just wondering if anyone else heard this, knows about it etc.......

1. There will be as many barriers as possible placed in the way of choosing the public option.

Protecting the for-profit health insurance industry is priority number one.

Otherwise, continuous open enrollment for the public option would be a centerpiece feature of the reform plan.

2. Heard that, too. Maybe more firewalls to help insurance, but from Obama mostly hear can keep what

you like, or opportunity for small business, individuals without to buy in. Maybe the language was different before.

3. Welcome. This issue has been pretty clear: initially only certain groups can

participate, then it will expand to include all. Until the final bill is signed, things can change, but this aspect has been pretty consistent across the House/Senate (Dems) discussion regarding how to set up health reform.
