8. He was the news for most of my life. A true journalist before they became shills.
He believed in true journalism. As he said it was his job to tell people what they NEEDED to know, not what they wanted to hear.

4. Oh, that's very sad. I grew up watching Walter Cronkite on the evening news--
When my brother was in Vietnam, we would watch his reports to find out what was really going on over there.
