At the same time that the benchmark of journalistic integrity passes, a federal court announces that that it is not against the law for FOX news to distort and misrepresent the news.
We have fallen off a cliff.

against the law for any news company to distort or misrepresent the news. heck, study the history of journalism. cronkite was a frigging treasure. and i doubt he would agree that news agencies should be prosecuted for distortions. that would make govt. the arbiter of what news coverage was and wasn't distorted. how scary is THAT?
