Franken reminds one of a 'Mad' man(Columbus Dispatch, July 19, 2009)Remember Mad magazine's Alfred E. Newman, whose philosophy was "What, me worry?" We now have Sen. Alfred E. Franken.
His qualifications: comedian on Saturday Night Live who never once said anything funny; radio host on Air America, which failed because nobody listened; and a thief who stole enough votes to be appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to the U.S. Senate.
What, me worry? You bet.

I don't know exactly why the Dispatch so often publishes silly crap like this in the Sunday Letters section, unless it is to generate indignant responses that they can publish during the week. This hateful little screed appears to be a word-for-word regurgitation of the mindless outrage that Rush Limbaugh feels for Franken after being criticized in Franken's books. Nice transcription, Ray!
Oh, and Ray? It's Alfred E.
Neuman, not Newman. I guess it would help if Rush spelled out the harder words for his listeners.
