Wow. The Insurance Industry does it again. |
|
I feel like I'm reliving the Bill and Hillary Clinton episode when they tried to give all Americans healthcare. It was a great cause back then, and it STILL is. But what happened back then? Oh yes.. Hillary was attacked and vilified by the Insurance Industry mouthpieces who funded shadowy groups of "concerned citizens", and funneled money to "journalists" and tv and radio pundits to attack her.
And what do we see this week when our President, who has taken up this worthy cause, starts pushing the weak-kneed Congress on health care? Yep. The usual mouthpieces in AP coming out with stories about his "declining popularity" his "losing his glamor" etc. Are people really that stupid? Do they REALLY believe that this sudden meme on tv and print is a coincidence? The scumsucking insurance lobby CANNOT tolerate a loosening of their hold on our shitty health care system in America.
We have to hold fucking BAKE SALES and CAR WASHES to help people pay for cancer surgery, when even some 3rd world countries provide health care for their citizens. Beth Fouhy is at it again with AP and I suspect she or her editors are dining at the insurance industry trough. They will villify Obama at every turn for having the cajones to fight the insurance industry.

2. Yesterday I drove past a group of protesters... |
|
about 15 or so, all protesting the horrors of "ObamaCare socialized medicine." I mean, these people are dedicated. They were protesting in the middle of the afternoon, in the Phoenix summer. I'm sure the temp was already near 110F.
They are absolutely committed to stopping universal health care from happening in America.

3. But Obama invited the insurance industry to his summit and all the meetings and they held news |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-19-09 12:57 PM by John Q. Citizen
conferences together. They were all working together, just like Hillary did when she had the biggest insurance companies as part of her secret commission. And surely you are aware that Hillary got millions of dollars from the health insurance industry since entered the Senate, aren't you? You didn't know that?
Who's dumb, again, please?
I'm not sure I understand what the problem or the solution is.
Can you explain?

6. obama and the industry are still working together to give obama plausable deniability |
|
as in "obama wanted a just health care reform program but (insert some manufactured reason) so he was denied" thereby an attempt at retaining his administrations quickly diminishing credibility.Wake up America. This is just the latest incarnation of the scam. While there is nothing that can be done about it, dont be so fucking stupid that you believe any of it

Let's not surrender before the first battle. Lets see what Obama can get done with this Congress, and then let's see what we'll get done with the next.
WE HAVE THE POWER.
Single Payer movement will continue to grow. Don't let the media and the insurance industry convince you otherwise.
It's our government. We'll get what we want if we work for it.
