You should've seen the pride on his face when he first watched the moonwalk, knowing he helped make that happen.

Dad designed the missile trajectories for the Atlas, Gemini, Mercury and early Apollo flights, though not the moon landings. But he knew the people that did.

There were people who still believed the world was flat long after voyagers sailed around and proved it wasn't true. The depths of human stupidity never cease to amaze me.
