More state residents (SC) losing health insurance

Lawmakers struggling to find cure for medical coverage problems

By Liv Osby • Health writer • July 20, 2009

In South Carolina, 670 people a week lose their health coverage, according to data from Families USA. In the decade ending in 2008, premiums soared 119 percent, increasing costs to employers and workers and adding to the spiraling cost of health care, according to the nonprofit group….

1. I hope they all remember to call their Republican Congress folks and thank them
for doing so much for them over the years!

Republicans don't want Americans to have ANYTHING unless they're wealthy, then they are entitled to EVERYTHING. Let the average American dolt go to hell.

Thanks, GOP. :eyes:

3. Should be?
IF he hadn't lost his job, and his wife hadn't gotten cancer, would he care? Maybe he was oblivious that this is HOW IT IS in America, and it's been this way for over 30 years.

I'm sorry he lost his job, and his wife got cancer. Welcome to the real America.

5. My guess is, probably he wouldn't care if he hadn't lost his job and his wife got cancer.

"Maybe he was oblivious that this is HOW IT IS in America, and it's been this way for over 30 years."

I think a lot of people are--and maybe now that so many are losing their jobs, they'll wake up.
