Children tortured before parents, raped, all covered up by Bush/Cheney and our media

These horrors were covered up by Bush/Cheney and ignored by our lapdog corporate right wing press. This cover up has been aided by Republican and Democratic members of Congress. In my opinion nothing can save The Bush/Cheney Administration and their accomplices from justice, and the only thing that can save those members of Congress who knew of this is if they come clean NOW and aid any investigations in whatever way they can.

Perhaps the worst incident at Abu Ghraib involved a girl aged 12 or 13 who screamed for help to her brother in an upper cell while stripped naked and beaten. Iraqi journalist Suhaib Badr-Addin al-Baz, who heard the girl’s screams, also witnessed an ill 15-year-old who was forced to run up and down with two heavy cans of water and beaten whenever he stopped. When he finally collapsed, guards stripped and poured cold water on him. Finally, a hooded man was brought in. When unhooded, the boy realized that the man was his father, who doubtless was being intimidated into confessing something upon sight of his brutalized son.

http://www.uswarcrimes.com/?p=2218

They did it brazenly in front of other prisoners. Nothing but a sheet separated the sound of screaming and the torment of children.

This is how you create your own insurgency.

From this PDF obtained by The Washington Post I have transcribed a portion of an Iraqi detainees testimony to a Titan Corp translator detailing horror in Abu Gharib.

I saw REDACTED fucking a kid, his age would be about 15 - 18 years. The kid was hurting very bad and they covered all the doors with sheets. Then when I heard the screaming I climbed the door because on top it wasn't covered, and I saw REDACTED who was in military uniform putting his dick in the little kids ass.

~snip~

They put the sheets again on the door. Grainer and his helper they cuffed one prisoner in room #1, named REDACTED, he was an Iraqi citizen. They tied him to the bed and they were inserted the phosphoric light in his ass and he was yelling for God's help.

The web address on that PDF is media.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/world/iraq/abughraib/151108.pdf. How long they have had this info and neglected to report on it I cannot guess.

Please, contact The White House, Attorney General Eric Holder and Congress and demand justice for these crimes. When you call quote the worst examples in this diary. Our leaders and media can no longer be blind to these crimes.

11. Try these sadists..
Convict them, and toss them in a deep, dark hole in which they will never leave.

or better yet, hand them over to the families of the children they brutalized.

14. "Hand them over to the families of the children"
Yep. That's got my vote.

ALL responsible for this should be held to account, starting at the top. I cannot "look to the future" when such horrible crimes have been committed by the US military, and at the behest of the US government. This is absolute barbarism.

19. Yes, it was reported. It was sickening then
and just as sickening now. I remember when it was first reported and how difficult it was even to read about it. I doubt the victims, those who survived will ever recover. But seeing some justice done would help a little.

There is no way to move forward from this. To even suggest that it is possible, is to be willfully blind.

South Carolina (If he says "git" one more time on tv and I have to hear it, I think I'll obliterate my tv, and I'm a Southerner.) said he thought the American people deserved to see the report of the abuses and then only a few days later after he had seen the actual pics, videos, etcs. Graham recanted his position and has since done everything he can to prevent their presentation to the people. Lately hasn't Graham joined with everyone's fav, Joe LIEberman, to repress the ones the Court has ruled must be released? Obama has to stand aside and stop protecting the war criminals or, yes, he is going to become culpable too. It is not his decision to decide who should be punished; it is the court's decision. It is the Justice Department's responsibility to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate potential crimes by government officials. NO to going into the future, with the past full of ignored crimes. That is not the future our citizenry deserves or expects. As a Constitutional law professor, Obama knows full well what he is about, so do NOT excuse him if he refuses to allow justice.

22. This is kinda obvious at this point..
Sickening but obvious... They needed to create enemies... Look, Why is nobody looking at the "plain as day" proof that Cheney was making money for defense contractors?? With no enemy we need no defense.. So when he's in office, the gloves came off, he simply said to our military "these are the enemies and treat them like they are already dead." WHERE IS THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ON THIS? Why is this still so "debatable" in our country? The rest of the world is laughing at us for being so duped by these assholes and we are still trying (with no effect) to investigate? Seriously? We are always the last to know....

thus ending much of the controversy. Before that happens his as well as his family's assets must be seized. The same goes for the rest of the Bush cartel.
Unfortunately, the political will in this country is a mile wide and razor thin because of too many unclean hands.

Offer them a deal, which they probably think is a 'slam dunk' lots of fun, and away they go from prison. Remember Cheney had a huge share in a fund related to making money off the prison system. Wish I could remember, I think it was Arizona? The prosecuting attorney even brought Cheney up on charges. His team of lawyers arrived and voila, case dismissed. hA! If I knew the link I would post it. He's not human, literally. :tinfoilhat: I being human can't even read of the horrors. Peace

...in 2004 who were shown still classified photos and videos of rape, torture, and murder.

They KNEW for a FACT that Torture, Murder, Rape, and other War Crimes were systemic,....and yet kept their mouths shut, and (for the most part) remained supportive of the WARS.

These are the Democrats who sat on the Senate Armed Services Committee Investigation during the Abu-Ghraib "investigation", and are complicit by turning a blind eye:

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.)

Why did we hate the Nazis?

Because they wore different helmets than we did?

Because they marched funny?

Because they had an abiding love of malted grain beverages, as I do?

Because they spoke German, like my ancestors?

No, we could forgive all this.

We hated them for their cruelty. Because they tortured. Because they violated the Geneva Convention.

Just sayin'.

53. 120 Days of Sodom: Abu Grahib
The Duke sets upon a boy to rape him. As the boy is already bound and beaten nearly senseless the Duke has no need to threaten him with a gun, but does so regardless for the fun of it.

The Duke says: "Four Months and I am still not satisfied!!! Would that I could, in defiance of all nature, impregnate this boy and at the fullness of the unnatural conception discharge my pistol into his belly, killing Father and Son!"

-------

Now, in principle, I should apologize for that upper statement, but given this sickening subject it is quite appropriate. A remembrance of the "Invisibles" story where they took some interesting license from DeSade, both as the revolutionary spirit and the eroticism of fascist control.

I've heard about these "Unreleased" photos for years. There was a news story about it. They showed some Senators and Congressmen going in to watch it and coming out looking like they'd watched a day full of Rotten.com and Goatse.cx for the first time. I heard about a boy raped in front of his caged father, to force a confession. That later it had become obvious they'd been turned in for the reward money, nothing more.

And I thought of that part of the "Invisibles" comic storyline. Morrison turned it into one of his "Memes", or at least attributed it to the upper class (who are satanist sorcerers) using it as a spell of degredation and control.

Might be a "Neat" (as in "Horrorshow" neat) movie to make: A re-telling of the 120 days of Sodom, but set in Abu Grahib... After all, the notorious "Salo" movie was set in Mussolini's final days and another good trash movie "Caligula Re-incarnated as Hitler" came out in the 80s...
