1. The idiot went to one of the 6 schools that Palin passed through at some point.
And seriously :wtf: is " turns up over 537 thousand hits."

Dude it's either 537,000 hits or 537k hits

3. Look at some of the comments
Katie says:
I don't think a "brilliant" speaker gives speeches that need to be listened to more than once to understand, and they certainly don't give speeches that need to be explained or clarified by other people. She didn't speak directly to me - I had no idea what reasons she was giving. To me she sounded petulant and self-pitying. None of her metaphors made sense - "only dead fish go with the flow" and "a good point guard knows when to pass the ball" and "I'm a fighter, not a quitter."

I don't call that brilliant. I barely call that communicating. She may have the format down, it's the content and the delivery she still needs to work on.

Kevin Seifert says:
People don't think she's a bad speaker. They think she's an intellectual lightweight, undereducated, and incoherent. The speaking isn't bad; it's the "thought" behind it.

Sometimes, it's a stereotype for a reason.

Back when I was a math major, I recall a lot of kids adopted majors like "Communications" only because they weren't able to study anything else. It's a fluff degree.

Obama's background was in Constitutional law. Having a background in law, he's trained to be a lot more careful with his words.

Next he can explain, contrary to popular belief, why it is actually true that the moon is actually made our of green cheese.

Jim says:
This article gives us a a good example of an analysis by someone that has no practical experience. The article sounds like the author knows what he is talking about but the conclusions are so flawed its amusing. Palin's speech was a rambling mess, as she normally is. If you cant see this, you should not be in the communications field.

5. Is this piece parody?
That's the only way it makes any sense.

Anyway, I'm so done with Palin. Five more days and she's out of here. We tried to stop her, but she's your problem now.

6. But hey! This guy's qualified to speak on this. Did anyone read his bio?
"George Copeland is a freelance writer and blogger. He holds a Master's degree, is a Marine Corps veteran, and once drove Rush Limbaugh's limo into a hydrant."

D'you suppose he was looking for a bathroom?

7. "I imagine that she is the envy of virtually all other speakers,
hence the obvious resentment of her by other politicians.
They can only dream of possessing her skill, and they take her towering ability as a stinging rebuke and the threat to their ambitions that it frankly is."

Oh lord.

I think it is the coal dust in the Birmingham air combining with the heat. Just rots the frontal cortex.

A reader comment from the Mobile Press Register:
" About Palin and Couric..
Who do YOU want to go hunting with, Palin or Couric?
Who would you rather be fishing with, Palin or Couric?
See? THAT's the difference and that's why Palin is such a good governor !"

It's their world, I only play in it from time to time.

8. They both went to the same school.
That explains a lot, because this article is very poorly written.
