Rasmussen Reports Poll shows tight 2012 race
Polls shows that Obama would beat Palin: 48% to 42%

Obama and Romney would be TIED: 45% to 45%

Obama better pass single payer healthcare by the end of this year or he's toast. They know it, and the GOP knows it, which is why Bill Kristol is saying this is the week to kill it.

1. And a 2012 poll is relevant now because?
Does Rasmussen have nothing better to do than poll about an election involving candidates who may or may not run? Jeezus.

2. But it proves that 42% of the American population are mentally retarded
if they vote Palin.

4. I wouldn't believe a Rasmassen poll about anything, and especially politics.
Last time I checked he polls a big majority of Republicans.

5. If 2008 polls were any indication three years previous, Giuliani and Hillary
would have been the Republican and Democratic nominees, and Giuliani would be President.

That's how much 2012 polls in 2009 are worth.

13. Well If Billy "the Bloody" Krstol Says So...
:scared:

More "punditry" from the goon who brought us Dan "Potatoe" Quayle, every wrong prediction about Iraq and now wets himself thinking of Mooselini.

IRC at this time in 2005 polls were showing Rudy Guilliani beating Hillary Clinton...that sure worked out well didn't it.

15. This justs rubs me wrong. To say that any republican would have a chance in 3 years
is absolute speculation. I think Kermit the frog would have a better chance! The only worry I have is a new conservative party. The republicans are a dead corpse. completely irrelevant!

17. Obama & the Democrats are ALLOWING the Republicans to....
Gain seats in Congress, and take it back over within the next two elections. They are also setting the Republican Party to be very competitive for the Oval Office in 2012.

Everyone here can mock all you want and laugh it off, but you will be the ones sitting around scratching your heads wondering why people would 'vote against their best interests.'

It doesn't matter if the Republican only has a 30% approval rating. That Republican will still beat the Democrat, because the Democrats need people to actually get out and vote for them. People are fed up with chump change, shell games, and token efforts, while Corporate America is given the keys to the U.S. Treasury and anything they want out of the American People by a 'Democratic' Government.

The Democratic Party has been showing the American People that they do NOT represent the citizens of this nation... They represent Corporate America and treat the citizens like "subjects" just like the Republicans do. People say, 'so what's the difference' and stay home on election night. The next day... The "smarter" people (the ones mocking and laughing) will be wondering how it could have possibly happened.

23. Most people don't think on it that hard. If the economy is better & we're out of Iraq ...
Obama wins. No questions asked.

19. Nice try. The only thing Obama really needs is the economy to not be in the toilet in 2012.
Health care reform isn't going to die, and the pukes who vote against it are going to have a lot of explaining to do.

20. Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton both led their respective parties'
preference polls and led also in presidential polling, per party, for one solid year in 2007 going into the last weeks of December.

And as we all know, they both went on to their respective nominations.

Wait...
