Or at least some kind of freak. My place gets lousy radio reception, so I usually have the teevee on; especially lately, what with all the wild weather we've been having and the alerts going out. But if it isn't tuned to news, it's usually on one of the history or how-to channels. Well, apparently, those of us who own and use televisions are expected to give a rat's ass about whatserface leaving American Idol. Aberration that I am, I've never seen the damn show. Not once. Nor have I watched any of its clones. For that matter, I've never watched that Survivor thing, either; likewise for its assorted clones. If I should suddenly develop an urge to watch, I'm bright enough to know how to find them.
So, yeah, it annoys the hell out of me when the 'news' finds it necessary to suggest any real significance for such programs.
Just needed to get that out of my system.

I don't know why I have a TV anymore. If I like the show I just buy the season on itunes.
