So Ralph Peters Thinks the Taliban Might Do Some Good by Executing a Captured U.S. Soldier

I really can’t foresee a circumstance whereby the Taliban is ever, ever justified in executing a captured U.S. soldier. But then, I’m not military “analyst” Ralph Peters, who never met a problem that didn’t unlock itself through the use of indiscriminate violence. Via ThinkProgress, here’s Peters on Fox News contending that if captured soldier Pfc. why would anyone in his right mind walk away from the US post in the middle of no where, thousands of miles from home.

5. I just watched a very bizarre video. I am apalled at the military. There is no honor left.

They are responsible for their soldiers. It is their obligation to find out if he walked away and they can only do that after they get him back. That man is sick. Can you imagine the young soldiers' parents?

Can you imagine the parents who are going to say NO to their kids going because the brass advocates death over rescuing without knowledge of the details, without knowledge of brainwashing or a bomb detonator under his shirt?
