she's on and off funny for me, too, standup wise. she had a half hour special on Comedy Central that was very very funny, a few years ago. it was intercut with bizarre, pseudo-biographical inserts, which made the show

9. I had to turn off her stand up special

just TMI--- too graphic for me. I realize I was not her target audience. I just don't need to hear about rectums and er, her personal habits. I don't think it's funny. (I'd have turned it off earlier if she was a guy). I was sitting with my teenage son in the room and both of us felt very awkward. I like her as an actress in comedies.
