Have you lost your marriage due to this pestilence? Now that the "unmixed" marriages have actually happened, have any of your predictions come true? Has your husband had any feelings in the direction of bestiality? Have you noticed Satan dancing on your doorstep? Is little Timmy taking up ballet instead of ball sports? In short, how's your "mixed" marriage been holding up these past few years?

1. I dunno.....I *still* don't want to see homosexuals making out on the beach......
but I don't want to see heterosexuals making out on the beach either.....or in the line at the grocery store, either. Take it to your PRIVATE ROOM.

Since I don't often see much of either....I think it's all working out okay! :-)

8. I agree on that one, unless they're super good looking
In which case I'll sit and watch eagerly. A caveat though,, only less than one percent of the population is that good looking!

3. I thought you were talking about gay/straight marriages.

Hopefully, there will be fewer and fewer of them.

4. My boyfriend and I
agree that traditional marriage has been emboldened now that an overwhelmingly liberal part of society whats to (and can) partake in it. We hope this will deminish the divorce rate too.

We also assisted at a lesbian couple's wedding - beautiful thing with lots of pantsuits. Some parents needed to change their mind first, but in the end they were all there.

And then there is the story of my uncle who finally married his good woman after 25 years of saying "the gays don't get married so why would we".

As for the gay-straight-marriages, I just hope that there is some truth in the statement that nobody is 100% straight or 100% gay; that these marriages can succeed with a minimum of bisexuality.

7. As for your last point,
unfortunately, in many of those marriages one of those spouses is in the closet, one is just in the dark. "Marriages" like that don't often work -- unless producing offspring is the only measure. That can certainly happen.

11. Yes, I believe that is the approved locution
As dictated to us by former Miss California and soon-to-be (doubtless) best-selling author Carrie Prejean.
