It's a simple question for the American people.
It's now or never. Do you want health care reform or do you not? If you are happy with the way the insurance companies treat you if you lose your job or have a pre-existing condition or the skyrocketing prices every year, then you are probably happy with the status quo?

But if you part of the majority, then you need to contact your Congressman and let them know that you want to see some changes. They say you can't afford a trillion dollars for healthcare reform, but we can afford a trillion dollars for unnecessary wars? We need to change that and we need to change it now. Otherwise, you are going to get more of the same, in spades.

1. Land line, cell phone, skype, I think Baucus staffers recognize all my numbers on their caller ID
But eventually they answer the phone anyway and we have our little chats. ;)

That little tidbit about how much of OUR $$ went to the bailout of banks and how they aren't helping anyone but themselves (doin the same stuff that got them into trouble and not using all the money to make loans and keep the economy pumping) sure gives me a different way to address the subject with staffers on the Hill.

2. Reform has lost the seniors. I do believe this is the problem.
They view expansion of coverage as a dilution of funding and resources going to Medicare, and opponents of reform are certainly exploiting that worry as much as possible.
