Obama's health care reform strikes the absolute fear of God in Republicans.
This is it. The whole enchilada.

This is where we are in America after the last 30+ years.

Massive financial/corporate/environmental deregulation; right wing media consolidation; hocked financial system to Goldman Sachs; destroyed labor; jobs shipped overseas; gutted manufacturing; destroyed educational system; millions lacking health care; tremendous political power surrendered to right wing religious fundamentalists; decades of deliberate refusal to hold criminal acts by past administrations accountable.

This is the dark abyss from which we stare upward; unemployed, impoverished, hungry, ill, uninformed, despairing, deeply furious.

"If we're able to stop Obama on this, it will be his Waterloo. It will break him."----Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C, to members of Conservatives for Patients' Rights

If President Obama is successful in a progressive reformation of health care, the entire cesspool of Republican/Conservative/Neocon/Religious Fundamentalist/Neo-Nazi-Skinhead/AntiAbortionist/Gun Zealot/Rush Limbaugh clone will be annihilated.

They know it. They fear it. They scream of it.

The day of reckoning is finally upon us.

1. If they fail to break Obama they will break themselves,
worse than they are already broken.

2. Agreed -- an impregnable New Deal type majority for the next 20 years.
Kristol as much admitted it.

3. They're *so* scared they're pulling Canadians down here to implore Americans...
to not give up our rights to a deal breakingly expensive, for-profit, OctoMom medical landscape...Canadians? republicans went to Canada and cast people from a country that still operates from time to time under the good-whimsy of The Queen of England? Look...

I'd prefer republicans were fearful on this topic, but my sense is that they are insane

5. This is the fight of our lives
Its all hands on deck - call all your friends, visit with your neighbors, and email you congress members. We need to be part of this fight if we want it to succeed. There are powerful forces - yes republicans and their Blue Dog fellow travelers - and the industry cartel, and the do-nothing nature of congress itself all begging for a reason to say NO to reform. Only a massive push by real voters will overcome the twisted fucked up mess in DC.

Its now or never.
