it seems dumb to me that we allow so easy a system where -- native born, immigrant, and every one else - gets behind a wheel -- the license is how we find you, track you etc. the ability to drive is not a right but a privilege.
even if you're here illegally -- having a drivers license and making they're insured makes sense -- otherwise we just keep passing the bill to the rest of us.

...and the immigration thing, whether it's drivers licenses or "shamnesty," as they like to call it, is a big, big thing. They still call John McCain "Juan McCain" because of his stand on these issues.
I think the reason Palin is Tweeting about this is that she's trying to re-captivate her captive audience. She's gonna throw red meat to the cheap seats, just as she did during the campaign.
