1. Would not surprise me, as a direct way
indirect.. I am starting to think the Family is far more powerful than we believe, even now.

And this vox populi, rabble rouser, is probably not too good for them

12. On your original question...
all this birther fixation... it is not accidental. This guy wants to re establish New Deal Policies... the Family emerged after the attempted coup against FDR, some of the same suspects, like oh the Bush family... so this is not accidental. They are doing the coup this time by seeding distrust in the political system.

15. That doesn't surprise me one bit.
A good Classical comparison is with Gaius and Tiberius Gracchus, who tried to push through land reform and were assassinated because of it, leading to the chain of events that brought down the Roman Republic. There is even an equivalent to outsourcing; the aristocrats were seizing the land of debt-ridden free-holding farmers and making the land part of slave-worked plantations called latifundia.

2. Craziness requires no funding. It's a labor of love.
Admittedly, it's kinky love ...

3. Can I donate?
Best of all possible worlds, this issue stays on the front burner while Rome (well America) burns, and Obama and Dennis put out the fire.

13. The militias never went away.
They were quiet during the Bush administration, but they were still there. I'm sure they're growing. I think of them as grown-up babies who have temper tantrums with guns when they don't get what they want. I think alot of the people in these groups are just playing make-believe.

9. Well, the Koch Family was helping to fund the Tea Parties and
the new attacks on Health Care according to Sourcewatch.org. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if they're funding the Birthers, too.

17. Scaife has been quiet
Mellon-Scaife funded the worst attacks on Clinton, but he appears to have mellowed out. He went through a very messy divorce, with the wierd details published in the one local paper he doesn't own. Bill Clinton said he and Scaife got together and found out they didn't really have a reason to hate each other.

and evidence was supposed to be forthcoming that would prove this theory.
It never happened.
