Sanford To Embark On Two-Week European Vacation
So long King David, hello Clark Griswold.

Fresh off of one vacation, S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford is set to embark on another one – this time to Europe.

Sanford left on a trip to an undisclosed location with his wife Jenny last Wednesday. He returned to South Carolina Monday night, but he isn’t sticking around for long.

Sources tell FITS that Sanford is heading to Europe this Thursday for a two-week vacation with his wife and four boys.

He needs to resign and stay the fuck over there. This state has double digit unemployment, but he can't be bothered to travel around and see what is happening to people. King David my ass.

2. And I'm sure we'll get a protracted, tearful report about it upon his return -- if, in fact,
he's really coming to Europe. :eyes:

3. Didn't Katie Couric just have the nerve to ask President Obama
if he thought it was inappropriate for him to take a vacation while the country was in a recession?? And Obama's vacation was actually a working vacation with his family. We really need smarter people to give us the news.

4. How do the media whores do it day after day?
I wouldn't be able to look into the camera had I participated in the 8 year fellatio of a shrub.

5. This Is Good For The State...
Since it seems the fine folks of South Carolina are just fine with a philandering, lovesick frat boy. Few seem to remember that this shitstain fought to reject stimulus money so his staying away can't be anything but good.

The longer he stays in the public eye, the more he becomes the poster boy (along with too many others) of the hypocrisies of this corrupt and inept party.

7. A song dedication to dah Guvenah......
...."The Tourist" by Radiohead:

It barks at no-one else but me,
like it's seen a ghost.
I guess it's seen the sparks a-flowin,
no-one else would know.
Hey man, slow down, slow down,
idiot, slow down, slow down.

Sometimes I get overcharged,
that's when you see sparks.
They ask me where the hell I'm going?
At a 1000 feet per second,

hey man, slow down, slow down,
idiot, slow down, slow down.

Hey man, slow down, slow down,
idiot, slow down, slow down.

9. Hey KharmaTrain!
I was beginning to feel like the only person in South Carolina who DID object to this moron--thank God I never voted for him! You should see all the Sanford-supporters falling all over themselves trying to back away from him, lol!

Yes, he got off on the wrong foot immediately by trying to invite in people from out West somewhere (no offense to our Westerners!)--but they had such nutty ideas about "education", they weren't welcome in their own part of the country!! So Sanford the Moron invites them to move to SC and "experiment" with OUR educational system. I mean, it's failing anyhow, so if they managed to screw it up totally, who's gonna care, right? This annoyed quite a few South Carolinians...even a handful of Republicans!

Then, to make himself even more popular, San the Man decides to refuse the stimulus money. We don't need it. Uh-huh, right. We're only one of the poorest states in the Union. Let that commie pseudo-Prez (who all right-thinking people know isn't even an American anyway) keep his money!

Well, at that, as the fight began to drag on endlessly, even San the Man's supporters started having misgivings. I imagine this was largely due to the squinty evil eye they were getting from their constituents, plus who knows how many midnight phone calls whose content I dare not repeat here.

Then that odd little trek up the Appalachian Trail--leaving NO ONE in charge of the state--which made a lot of people nervous. These same folks's anxiety only turned to rage when they learned that Our Hero had been not hiking the trail, but cozying up with his floozy hot mama down in Argentina.

And then THE CONFESSION--Biblical quotes, snivelling, moralizing, wailing and gnashing of teeth and the whole sorry show.

Even for South Carolina, that was enough.

Please, Marky Mark--if you're going to Europe, STAY THERE!!! (Forgive me, Europe!)

And Jenny: if your hubby DOES try to return to the US, could you somehow manage to trip over him and give him a little nudge off the plane, or the deck of the ship, or whatever?

I promise...we wouldn't even bother to investigate. But we just might award you a medal!

14. Trying to figure out what average guy who publicly called his mistress his "soul mate"
would still have a wife and kids to go to Europe with--not too many. I guess Mrs. Sanford is a whore for the money and status. Shame on her. Get some self-respect, woman. You should have been out the door weeks ago.

AND your wife AND your political career, as long as you're a "Christian" Republican, I guess.

20. I don't see no recall petitions
I guess the people of South Carolina are just fine with Mark Sanford's performance as their governor. He can't be bothered with the day-to-day workings of his job, but he can maintain a relentless vacation schedule, haring off to South America, parts unknown, and a quick tour of the crowned heads of Europe. Nice work if you can get it.
