Steelers QB Roethlisberger Accused of Sexual Assault in Lawsuit
A civil lawsuit has been filed in Nevada against Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger by a woman accusing him of sexually assaulting her in a Lake Tahoe hotel room in July 2008.

...

According to the civil complaint filed Friday in the Second Judicial District Court in Washoe County, Nev., the woman accused Roethlisberger of assault while he was a guest at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, where she is an employee. The suit, however, is also for libel and slander and is filed against nine defendants, including Roethlisberger. The eight others are reportedly employees at Harrah’s whom the woman accuses of defaming her following the assault. She also says Harrah's did not adequately investigate her complaint.

It's all over TMZ, also. The lady has a history of reaching out for help with emotional issues, which doesn't look good for her case.

2. The Online Thing
Actually is more common than you'd think, but that it was so devastating she had to go for help, doesn't speak very well for her.

Then again, look at what Steve McNair got involved with :(

3. It is very odd that ESPN has chosen not to report on it.

I would have thought it would dominate their coverage but they have blacked it out.

on edit: I'm not the only one who noticed...
