ARVADA — A rectangular olive-green box with the words "Front Toward Enemy" raised the suspicions of workers at a suburban Denver Goodwill.

Arvada police are investigating a Claymore land mine found in a Goodwill donation box Tuesday that forced the evacuation of a strip mall.

We used them in training in the army in 1988, so they have been in use from Vietnam until then at least.

I used to see training mines at surplus places. It was probably one of those.
