Could you please ask all of your neighbors, friends, etc. if any of them have this mysterious "long form birth certificate" of which the freepers seek?

Because, as you have affirmed, it seems to be that this is the official document issued by the state of Hawaii in order to prove place of birth.

Maybe all of the Freepers are so ancient (no offense to the elderly) that all of their BC's were penned in ornate caligraphy on papyrus scrolls?

6. No, they want the long form, hard copy "BIRTH CERTIFICATE"
The one with the Doc's signature & the kids' paw prints inked on it. Never mind that the more common "Certificate Of Live Birth" with the same info copied onto it & with a state notary seal on it is considered to be legal Proof of Birth and would be adequate when applying for a drivers' license, passport - or when running for President.

but it's still a copy.

I didn't realize that there was a long/short form until I requested one and got the short form.

They told me I had to request the long form specifically. I'm sure that Hawaii has something similar.

However, I don't think anything would satisfy these cooks.

Edit: oh yea, and it still says he was born in Hawaii. So that's enough for him to be president.
They just don't want a Black man to be president, that had a "musilin" heritage.

About not believing in a time machine.

Any minute now, I'm expecting one of them to show up on teevee arguing that Obama is, in fact, the owner of an insidious time machine device who has managed to go back in time and change history so that he can take over the world.

And that he has the original inventor, Christopher Lloyd, tied up in the basement of the White House.

There were rumors going around that Obama had changed his middle name from Mohammed to Hussein (like that would be sooo much better) and to so stop that one in it's tracks Obama released his birth certificate to show his full name. Then some idiots decided it was fake and the rest is history.

Maybe it was O'Donnell or Wolffe. I'm sure someone who watches either Hardball or Countdown would remember the exchange better than I do.

18. This isn't the Birth Certificate issued at least prior to 1977 (the year I was born).
These are new "copies" of the birth certificates, but are NOT the original versions. The birth certificate that Obama's parents, and up until a few years ago, would have received looked like this:

I know Chiyome Fukino personally (the Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health), we go to church together. I 've asked her about this "original version" of Obama's birth certificate, and she said she's seen it and it does exist.

My only question is why not authorize the release of this original version? it just creates a distraction and makes the president look like he's hiding something and not as transparent as he's promised (not like that promise was ever upheld)...

21. Probably for a couple of reasons
1. He doesn't have to. The one he presented is legal because the State of Hawaii says so. It's more than any other president has provided.

2. It wouldn't matter. There is no appeasing these COLB conspiracy nutjobs. They have created their own reality and they would just come up with reasons why they think it's fake.

Short answer: IT'S FUN.

Fun to watch as the millions of Americans who were swayed to vote republican can see the idiocy & insanity of the base of the party and how much sway they have over their congress critters. Fun to watch the veil ripped off to expose the hateful, racism that is the base of their party. Fun to watch the republican party implode.

31. So, why doesn't she copy it and release it?
If it's that easy to do?

If you ask for a certified birth certificate now, you'll get the computer p/o Obama's campaign got. They got it, they released it. It is legally recognized proof of his birth in Hawaii.

If they won't accept it, what on earth makes you think the "Look at the kerning" crowd would accept a copy of the above?

And, as I mentioned in another post, the pre-computerized version of the b/c you've reproduced here would be pretty easy to forge or alter. Much easier than the version generated for current requests.

36. Easy
post both of them together.

Like I said, I was born in 1977, and I have both copies. I'm sure if the President of the United States asked for a copy of the original, this state, of all States, would oblige...

I don't doubt it exists, like I said, I know Dr. Fukino personally, we've talked about this subject ad nauseum... and even if he was born in Kenya, or Panama, or anywhere else in the world, if he is born to an female American citizen, then he is a natural born citizen (a VERY loose vague term).

These stupid issues take on a life of their own, now you have major news outlets discussing this issue, it's no longer the fringe issue it once was. If Obama had released his original documents, this wouldn't be an issue anymore...

32. So why didn't your buddy, Dr. Chiyome Fukino refer you back to this press release?
For Immediate Release: October 31, 2008 08-93
STATEMENT BY DR. CHIYOME FUKINO
“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record.

“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.

“No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i.”

There is absolutely no reason for any one to have to see the 'original' - the certified copy that is posted on the internet is valid for every legal purpose.

This issue is beginning to take on a life of it's own. Just release the original and be done with it. What you think this Administration needs another distraction from, hmmm, what else...National Health Care? Passing cap and trade law? Doing away with DADT? I can go on...

I'm not on a bus, this was a subject that was raised by someone else. I think this birth certificate thing should have been nipped in the bud a long time ago. No matter how many new certificates, or statements by State officials, Obama should take the mantle of transparency (finally) and be done with this...

Sorry you can't handle debate without going all ad hominem...

38. States do not release originals - it is not done.
Don't believe me, contact your state Bureau of Vital Statistics and ask them to release the original of your birth certificate so you can prove that it can be done. If you were born in Hawaii ask your good buddy, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, to help get it released. She will be happy to explain that originals are not released. That is the point to the archives of state records, that they be kept and not given out. That is what a certified copy is - a copy that is certified to be accurate.

And even if the original were released, that would not satisfy the insane. They will not believe any truth concerning Obama's birth. Proof of any kind will never be enough

Obama has released a copy of his birth certificate as issued by the State of Hawaii in the only form that Hawaii releases at this point in time. The state officials have verified that the copy available on the internet is a true copy and that the original is in their files.

Anyone who does not believe that Obama is a Natural Born Citizen of the US who was born in Hawaii will never believe the truth and is crazy or has chosen for some insane reason to believe in non-existent conspiracy theories.

Since you seem to be parroting the insane birther line, you certainly seem to be on their bus. Sorry if I confused you with them since you are using all their favorite arguments.

45. About your close personal friend
You've discussed the birth certificate with her ad nauseum. I'm just dying to know--what did she say about it? After all of the long and heartfelt conversations the two of you had about the birth certificate that she's seen with her own eyes, surely you've got some insight as to what's on this "long form" birth certificate. Spill the beans, let us know. Was he born in Kenya? Indonesia? Does it turn out that his father is actually Don Ho?

I'd really like for you to open up and tell us all about it in your 5th post here, and in so doing, burn your close personal friend the doctor by betraying her secrets to some people on the Internet you've never spoken to before.

I don't believe a single word you say. I firmly believe you're a liar who has never met the doctor in question. Whether or not you even reside in Hawaii is anyone's guess. Anyway, you're a meaningless twit, and I'll be mildly amused for about 18 seconds when you're banned, then I'll never think about you again. Try a more gullible group next time around...it's difficult for the hapless to see just how hapless they are sometimes; it's a matter of perspective, I think. Later.

24. Just more fake proof from the corporate appeasers!
My top five reasons why Obama can't be my president:

1) I first noticed it in the debates. Whenever Obama is filmed its obvious there is more than one light source. Since the solar system only has 1 sun, Obama was obviously faked.

2) How is it the plans for the Obama unit were lost? Wouldn't the govt have realized that they might need change again at a later date and kept a copy of the plans? Now they are saying the plans were on microfilm all along in safe storage? Typical shameless crap the govt always pulls.

3)No dust on Obama's feet. Anyone who knows anything about physics would know that even the force of a fart could move dust around and yet this man walks the earth for more than 4 decades and still has clean shoes? I call bullshit.

4)The Martin Van Buren belts would have killed him.

5)The msm and govt agree. When this happens, you always know we are being lied to.

6) No stars in the background. Watch his press conferences and tell me where the stars are?

Please stop the lies.....

You give facts about legal concept D.
