Onstar is that satellite system that is featured in those ads where a driver crashes into a tree and the dispatcher contacts said driver saying "I have a report that you've been in an accident" and the driver mumbles yes and the dispatcher says she's sending help and Wheeee, here comes the ambulance. Kinda like burglar alarm systems connected to a central dispatch thingie. I have to assume that the paranoid Mr. Beck (And I've never watched him, nor do I intend to) figures that since the Big Bad Federal Government now "owns" GM, and since GM owns Onstar, the Big Bad Government now Knows Where We Are at Every Moment.
Big Brother.
