Randall Terry Warns of "Random Acts of Violence" over Healthcare Legislation
Edited on Wed Jul-22-09 05:04 PM by RamboLiberal
At a typical Randall Terry press conference one can expect to hear all sorts of overheated rhetoric about abortion – that it’s murder, that abortion clinics are places of "mass genocide," and so forth. But in recent weeks, he has amped up his rhetoric to insane new heights over the healthcare legislation before Congress, which he claims would pay for “child-killing.”

Earlier this week Terry called for the rejection of the bill and warned of "violent convulsions" of a level that hasn't been seen since the Civil War if the bill is passed

At today’s press conference, however, Terry was quick to point out that he has supposedly been a "non-violent" leader for 25 years, and he ridiculed those who accuse him and other right-wing leaders of "stirring up domestic terrorism”:

But when Terry predicted the consequences of passing the bill, he seemed to exalt in warning of “random acts of violence” and violent "reprisals against those deemed guilty":

I hope the FBI & Secret Service are taking notes on this nutbag!

What Do GOP Lawmakers Think Of Randall Terry’s Violence Stoking?

Randall Terry is at it again. Because apparently the half-skull poster of Sonia Sotomayor and exhortations to his unstable flock about the Angel of Death weren't nearly enough to get him the fundraising haul attention he needed.

In any polite society, his brand of dangerous stoking of the fires of hell would get him shunned by decent people.

In fact, it's well past time that GOP lawmakers were asked -- clearly and without any ambiguity -- what they think of Terry's fire and brimstone violence stoking on behalf of their policy agenda.

Because they cannot have it both ways any more that Terry can.

Using Terry's dangerous rhetoric to push the Republican policy agenda makes them just as responsible for the ends of those means as Terry is.

6. I'm starting to think these douchebags have someone pulling their strings.
Sure we know that Randall Terryrist and RimJob have decades long track records of saying stupid shit and being absolutely paranoid about anything changing for the better in this country. But really, how do THEY benefit from continued corporate "health care"?

They don't.

So maybe they're getting paid to stir up shit from those who DO?

7. When is DHS going to arrest that little weasel?
Inciting to violence is a no no in a civilized society, especially one still nervous over a massive terror attack by foreign right wingers.

Terry needs to sit in a cell until he learns some manners.

9. Look how fucking threatened these republican fucks are with the idea of health care for ALL
Edited on Wed Jul-22-09 05:17 PM by GreenTea
They care nothing for the poor or working class...just don't touch the rich or the insurances corporations feeding off us.

If your son or daughter (over eighteen has a life threatening disease illnessr sickness and can't afford the outrageous insurance companies health care premiums where do they go to get help? the insurance companies won't help them because there's no profit for them...they don't care anything about the sick only profits....so where can your son or daughter go to get the care and extensive medical cost?

ONLY a government health care with a public option will help...the insurance companies want nothing to do with them and toss them aside daily to let them die...Insurance companies are only there to feed off the health for profit the sick cost them money and they can die for all the insurance companies care.

12. and then, if he isn't bought and paid for,
he won't be able to get health care. Or he'll get it, in the ER, and then have to pay 5 or 10 or 20k. And if not seriously injured, have to wait 5 or more hours to be seen.x(

16. Wouldn't it be more logical for a hard line "pro lifer" to
...work for the most comprehensive health care possible, so that every poor, distressed, woman in
America could carry her baby to term and give it a safe birth, regardless of her circumstances?...Also, so that every child born in this country
would have the best possible health care regardless of the circumstances of its birth?
HUH?
I am convinced that the Right Wing is entirely inhabited by psychopaths and/or a vast variety and fungible array of looneytunes.

Lock this piece of shit away. He has long since gone past any "right to free speech" that actually exists in this country. He is INCITING to violence, not "warning" of it!

21. Those people are very scary.
I had the misfortune of seeing Flip Benham, Randall Terry and Don Treshman and other members of Operation Rescue in court in 1992 and 1994.

They are scary. I wish I could have sued them for post traumatic stress disorder just from being in the same courtroom with them.

23. Here's something I bookmarked - you got a RW Newsmax author
writing this in a new book coming out in 2 weeks:

The U.S. Secret Service has cut corners in ways that may have jeopardized the safety of President Obama, according to a new book by a veteran Washington journalist and author, Ron Kessler. The book, "In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect," details instances of "laxness in how they protect" Obama, according to a source at Random House, which will officially release the book Aug. 4.

While the agents assigned to protect Obama and other principals are described as dedicated and valiant, Kessler asserts that in recent years the management of the agency "has betrayed its mission by cutting corners, risking the assassination of President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and their families," the publisher says. One current agent tells the author: "It's a miracle we have not had a successful assassination."

But neither the publisher nor Kessler himself, in an interview, would say what corners were cut or what the laxness entailed and how they endangered the president.

http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/07/21/new-book-says-secret-service-cut-corners-on-obamas-protection/

These RW nutjobs and how this Birther crowd and the RW punditry are stirring up the loonies. Sure makes me a bit nervous.

26. There is reason to worry.
The right-wingers in our country our used to getting their way. They are babies who are going to have a tantrum. It will not be pretty. They will get all worked up and work up the most dangerous nuts in the country. Hopefully, we will all still be alive and well once the dust has settled from their stupid tantrum but hang on to your own!
