Fair enough??

THAT is State's rights in action. All of you gun lovers want to trump state's rights when it comes to driving all over the Country with a loaded gun(s), but you won't recognize the rights of our Gay American citizens to marry or bring their husband or wife into YOUR State and have equal rights like they have in the State they are married in.

1. Agree 100%. IMO CA's Atty. Gen. Brown was correct in arguing that same-sex marriage is an
"inalienable right" under CA's Constitution.

I support Brown's argument and also that the right is an unenumerated right protected by the 9th Amendment and further that it should be incorporated in the 14th Amendment.

2. While it is true that it is very generous of you to allow this,
(guns in YOUR state) I think it is more of a decision by various legislatures rather than yours alone.

5. Which is what I thought would happen, it's OK to allow death to flourish in the US
but love is restricted to the whims of the traditional FundieThumperGoptards.

8. That shouldn't come as a suprise...
Looking at our movie rating system. Graphic sex will net you an "X" rating. Graphic violence will net you an "R."

Thus, it's clear violence is more acceptable than sex. Which I think is just plain weird.

However, you DO realize that the vast, vast majority of crimes involving guns aren't committed by people who possess CCWs, right? One doesn't have to have a CCW to carry a gun across a state line, just a gun. And criminals do it all the time. It's the ones who follow the law who are actually trying to get the right to do what criminals do without bothering to ask.

6. Ohhh... if it only worked that way.
I mean we have a wonderful example with the Kommonwealth of Massachusetts where not only is same sex marriage legal for couples married in the state, but we also honor and recognize both gay and straight wedding vows performed in other states.

We also took the additional step of "trumping" states rights (are you paying attention here), by repealing an antiquated law that prevents Massachusetts from sanctioning marriages that are not legal in the state where the couple lives... screw "states rights"... right?

Now one would think (or believe with MA being home to "the cradle of liberty" and all), our firearms laws would be just as noble, open minded, fair and in the spirit of the BOR of the US Constitution.

What a laugh... what a joke... what a disgrace!

Unlike many other states with reciprocal CCW agreements; the just, honorable and fair :sarcasm: MA legislature has not and never will honor, accept or agree to giving the same courtesy to law abiding gun owners...Christ, even life long residents here have to genuflect and fellate the God almighty Chief of Police in order to be bestowed a license to simply purchase a firearm.

Go ahead and sob about guns and gun owners being shoved in your face. Because like it or not... it's coming to a neighborhood near you.

10. I don't think so , and speaking of 'shoving things in my face'
when America recognizes GAY marriage, I'll recognize your right (?) to bring your gun into my backyard. Until then, go shove your paranoia in someone else's face.

11. "Paranoia"?
Who's the one skeered of law abiding gun owners taking a stand for their rights?

And why when "America recognizes GAY marriage, I'll recognize your right" is your criteria?

Quite honestly... whether you recognize it or not is unimportant to me and is certainly your right.

What is important to me is that gun owners rights and 2nd amendment advocates are gaining in the courts, legislature and public opinion.

Sure... we'll take our inevitable losses (and I don't care what anyone says... a 58-39 loss is welcome and encouraging when compared to where we were just a couple of years ago).

Change and progress takes time and myself and others more than willing to dig in and take up the fight.

We have the time, energy, motivation, money, desire, dedication, desire, etc.

What do you have besides your "paranoia"?

12. Enjoy your religion of the gun, I don't want any part of it
it isn't paranoia, just that fact that you have hello kitty with a gun proves guns are your life, and I don't want any part of that life or you.

Goodbye.

16. I'll accept your surrender...
not that I actually believe it's surrendering in the literal sense, but when the best you (and a few others here), have to offer in your defense is mocking/scoffing at/condemning a fucking cartoon cat, then I know the anti-gun agenda is nearing a well deserved death.

Ce'yah guise at the next SCOTUS decision.

B-) :smoke:
