Man Catches Fire After Lighting Cigarette

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― A hazmat situation is developing in Sacramento after a man caught fire while smoking in his home.

Emergency responders have called a two-alarm hazmat scene near the intersection of 33rd Street and Franklin Boulevard. Authorities say it appears that the man lit a cigarette in his bathroom, causing an explosion and blowing out the back wall in the process.

The suffered severe burns on his face and upper body, but is expected to survive.

Authorities have not identified the cause of the blast yet.

Marijuana was found in the man's home. No other ignition sources have been found.

3. in college, a couple of us were downing Point beers (Stevens Point, WI)

in Evanston. One problem with Point is the gas output it produces. My friend (who procured the beer) started lighting his farts with a lighter. One was particularly large, and set his jean shorts on fire. the flames, his reaction, and his screams were hilarious, especially as he poured the beer in his hand over his crotch.
