Wash Times: Palin to be Found GUILTY by Personnel Board
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jul/23/hot-button-34613253/

The Associated Press claims that outgoing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be found guilty of violating her state's ethics rules, citing a report leaked from the State Personnel Board on one of the 19 ethics complaints filed against her.

The governor may be counting down her final days in office, but she isn't letting the accusations go unanswered. She's even threatening to take some legal action of her own against the leakers.

According to the AP, the board will say she improperly used her public image to raise money for the legal defense fund created to fend off complaints made against her as an elected official. No punishment is expected for violating the rules; the board will only recommend that Mrs. Palin not take direct payments from the fund.

4. if this is true and the Washington (Moonie) Times is printing this than .....
..... Sarah is in deep shit. Now why would she be putting money into a legal defense fund
if she did nothing wrong?

5. What about the other 18 ethics violation complaints against her?
As for Palin's threat to take legal action against the leakers, I thought Republicans and conservatives hated lawyers and the resort to legal recourse.

with the legal defense funds?

Laws were not written for the Grifters, just for everyone else.

7. No punishment is expected - WTF???
Who cares if she's found "guilty" if there's no punishment. She's already been found to have 1) been unethical in firing that dude, 2) stolen money that they made her pay back, and now 3) is going to be found guilty of this.

Who gives a flying leap about any of this if there's no punishment??? Her idiot camp will just spin this some more until there is some punishment. Without punishment, all of these guilties and unethicalities will be swept under the rug.

8. This from Moony Tunes? How very odd.
Maybe the meme's spread around there that Palin's not a good candidate and the GOP needs to nominate someone better in 2012. National Review is certainly tepid toward Palin.

14. Palin still? Seriously?
All the posts last fall were about how she was the downfall of the campaign and a nobody, yet we still constantly post about her like she's some huge threat; I don't get it?
