1. The republicans are insignificant unless they control the blue dogs
With a super majority in the Senate, there is little the GOP can do if the Democrats voted together on this.

2. I say it's the Blue Dog DINOs
Reid has no balls. Pelosi's growing a pair. If health care reform hawks ran the DCCC and DSCC, this would be a slam-dunk.

No campaign money for anti-reform PhRMA Dogs!

4. Isn't there an "all of the above" choice?
With the exception of the insane birthers, all the other choices - Republicans, Blue Cross Democrats, Insurance lobbiests, etc. - are all huge obstacles.

5. Couldn't Pelosi Just Change the way they vote
Couldn't Pelosi just change the percent needed to pass a vote. Isn't that the "nuclear" proposal? I don't know, maybe OB could, by using executive power, just order it to happen?

I really don't know.
