Health care is not a Democratic or Republican issue. |
|
It is an American issue. Republicans lose their insurance when they lose their jobs, just like Democrats do. They pay higher prices every year also. And they are denied coverage because they have pre-existing conditions. It is a mistake to let the Republicans in Congress try to make it a partisan issue. It is not.
If the Congress goes on recess before anything is done about health coverage, then President Obama should direct his comments to Republican voters, so they can personally question their Congressmen while they are on vacation. Republicans have sick children, just like Democrats do. They want to be secure in their health needs.
In my opinion, the President should direct most of his comments in the future toward Republican voters. They should not be manipulated by their Party and their leaders into believing that they are somehow different from the rest of us. They should feel the heat. And the President should apply the flame.

1. However many don't realize that the GOP want to fully privatize healthcare |
|
that's right - no government aid whatsoever. As you can see from what happened after 9/11 most of the people said to Bush "anything you say" The GOP if in power could do the same thing again with social security, healthcare. I'm sure they will get rid of medicaid and medicare.
