I hope they are crying in September and moaning how they should have passed the bill in August when they had a chance

There is a lot not to like in some of the bills being put forward - primarily the length of time for implementation of many of the major parts of the new processes/programs.

The final bill needs to be better and put the pieces together faster. In the current House bill rescission (cancellation) of policies is still allowed until 2011 and ban on prior condition exclusions doesn't happen until 2013. (I'm sure the insurance companies LOVE those provisions as it gives them extra time to line their pockets with immoral profits by denying the care they are supposed to provide). There is no reason why those 2 practices can't be banned as of January 1, 2010. The entire program should take no longer than 24 months in toto to fully implement, in my opinion. Enough of this 2013 BS! They implemented Medicare in hardly anytime at all- aren't we supposed to be more efficient than they were in the 60's?

Here's to a REAL reform, activated and rolled out on a much quicker time frame - because WE DEMAND IT!

3. Absolutely, Obama should come out for HR 676 - Single Payer, the only real solution.

He knows this. He also know by now (or should) they do not compromise.

BTW, the bill says that they will still be able to rescind if there is evidence of fraud, which is what they now currently claim.

THERE MUST BE NO RESCISSION FOR ANY REASON.

Fraud claims can be handled by the lawsuit.
