And rightly so as they take away time from casework and other business for his constituents. Congressional offices do not log calls from constituents outside their districts. Those calls from constituents get logged in a database and sent a form letter. The Member rarely if ever sees the mail because there isn't enough time in the day to do their job AND read a few thousand pieces of mail per day.

2. I called the Asheville and Washington

office. I am in his district but they didn't care in either office. I volunteered my address finally since I was never asked. They declined to answer on the basis of 9/11. I asked if he was a member of the family and they said they had never heard of it.
