Baucus NEEDS the August recess to be bribed by lobbyists

You know, the only people who are REALLY important to Max Baucus.

Baucus held a Montana fundraiser last month that was reportedly well-attended by health industry lobbyists, and has another scheduled the weekend of August 1 dubbed "Camp Baucus," where donors and "the whole family" can "enjoy Big Sky's fly fishing, golf, horseback riding and great hiking."

And while Max is whoring with his industry friends, enjoying that Big Sky fishing, the sky is falling for the rest of us, because we can't grease the criminal palms of Max fucking Baucus! "The whole family" of a lobbyist can enjoy loads of recreational activities, while the "whole family" of many Americans are in crisis in case someone breaks a bone or comes down with so much as a fucking sinus infection.

This guy is the biggest corporate WHORE on the planet. "Camp Baucus" is the biggest fuck-you he could give to the American public, and it's the reason that the whole campaign financing issue is screaming for reform.

I swear to God, if I lived anywhere near Montana I'd love to give a screaming FUCK YOU welcome to the lobbyists as they enter Camp Baucus. And to him, too.

...NPR reported this yesterday, and they actually really did note how much freaking money he gets from healthcare lobbyists...this needs to become common knowledge so that people demand he play no rule in the "reform."

2. A very nasty thought has occurred to me

All these overstuffed, selfish idiots are going home for the recess, presumably, at least for enough of it to check and make sure there aren't squatters living in their property before they take off on pleasure trips. Wherever they go, they're going to hear from everybody they meet how important it is to get this sucker passed.

Even if they very carefully surround themselves with insurance people, a few other people, including people who run other businesses, are going to sneak in and speak up.

I know if my congrescritters are anywhere around me, they're going to hear about it.
