The Senate "democrats" are delaying health care.
Did anyone here notice?

Undercard:Screw everyone who isn't rich with a phony "health care" system. Winner after winner after winner--the insurance companies; loser after loser after loser--the people.

Round One: Get health care on the agenda. Winner--the people; loser--the insurance industry.
Round Two: Get single payer buried *deep*. Winner--the insurance companies; loser--the people.
Round Three: Delay until closer to the mid-term election. Winner--the insurance companies; loser--Obama.

I'm not digging this trajectory.

1. Health Care Reform is Dead
Don't worry about the trajectory - just start digging the grave.

2. nice turn of phrase.
I think reform was dead when single-payer was "renditioned."

9. Then so is this country.

Our economy just can't stand this strain much longer. Premiums rising every year, jobs going overseas to countries where they DO care enough about their citizens to provide healthcare (and not expect OUR employers to pay for it as they must here), bankruptcies, deaths....

To do nothing is the most expensive option we can choose.

6. Obama isn't the only loser in round three.

People die every day because we don't have health care done yet.

7. yes, but Reid's announcement on the morning following Obama's big health care
press conference is real slap in the face to the President.

I've been watching this happen over and over for years.

10. Harry Reid and the Blue Dogs are making a huge mistake. They are idiots.
I wrote a strong e-mail to my congresscritters today. I told them that I am watching the donations to them on Open Secrets. I pointed out that Baucus and others are receiving huge donations from pharma, insurance companies, etc. It is shameful that they are delaying on this bill that is so important to the middle class.
