when he claimed daylight robberies in the area are not uncommon.

According to your map, there's barely any crime in the area.

6. Well, you posted the link to the original crime search
So I gave you ownership.

Closest bit of crime was a robbery seven blocks away on the 20th. Nothing else anywhere within 2 miles.

8. Daytime break-ins committed by a guy with a cane and luggage are not common in Cambridge.
Ware Street and the area right outside of Harvard Square is very affluent. The whole point is that Professor Gates' constitutional rights were violated, after he showed an ID in his house and the cop refused to leave.
