So conservatives find out law enforcement agency has identified a group of ultra-conservative hate groups that have a high probability of causing violence in America and recommend monitoring of these groups. Conservative reaction: Obama is unfairly attacking identified groups because his actions are only based on who they are (conservative). Conservatives feel: This is wrong, unjust, repressive and should be stop. Result: Individual ultra-conservative members of several conservative groups (gun nuts, white supremacist, anti-abortion, religious absolutist) go on violent shooting sprees. Oops.

So conservatives find out law enforcement agent has identified a black man that has entered his own home and arrests him anyways. Conservative reaction: Obama is unfairly attacking officer because his actions are only based on who who the victim is (liberal). Conservatives feel: This is wrong, unjust, repressive and should be stop. Result: Joe the Plumber and Frank the Firefighter get more competition on the angry white guy talk circuit.

So if law enforcement correctly identifies criminal groups and those groups are conservative it's the law enforcement agencies that are wrong. If law enforcement incorrectly identify a criminal groups and that group is black it's the victim that is in the wrong. Who can argue with logic like that?
