The Repugs Say They Want To Do The Right Thing For Health Care Reform......... |
|
does that mean they will now support a Universal - Single Payer Program.
If they did - by any stretch of the imagination do that - what would that do for their chances to win in 2010 and 2012?
Would they become our healthcare hero's?

1. If they all came out strong, RIGHT NOW for a single-payer plan |
|
that would become available as soon as humanly possible, and function the way a single payer plan is meant to do... I would consider changing my affiliation..
Because it would mean they had all become Democrats.

2. If we can't get them to support the reform initiative he is advocating now |

It will be a cold day in hell before they would ever support single-payer. Also, I don't really think they want to do the *right* thing for health care reform, so, with all due respect, your question kind of falls apart right there.
Republican "health care heroes"? :spray:

3. Get one thing straight—if the Democrats fuck this up and don't bring about |

any kind of meaningful, substantive change in health care financing policy, the Republicans will come roaring back into power like they never left. And we will deserve everything we get. This is the Democrats' to blow.

4. by Right they mean what they have agreed on as RWers |
|
which is, do nothing and hope he fails--it's all about getting elected, not about the people's needs.
