A question, please.

I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. This evening I'm
watching the Ed Show on MSNBC. During the commercial break,
there was an ad for FBN (Fox Business News) which airs on
DIRECTV Channel 359. (They specifically stated channel 359). I
saw the same ad on CNN Channel 202 earlier today. Also, a few
days previously, on the Ed Show, same ad. 

My initial reaction the first time, was that I really didn't
see or hear the ad correctly. Today, I'm feeling all like
"WTF????"

Has anyone else seen the ads?? Are they paid for by for by Fox
to be shown on a rival network??? Paid for by DIRECTV??? It
doesn't make sense to me, I'm really confused, not to mention,
pissed off at having to see anything "Faux" on MSNBC
or even CNN.

3. I didn't see the ads, but they are coming from

Direct TV or your cable provider or whomever. They had ad time they didn't sell, and they used it to cross-promo one of their other channels.

DIRECTV, 'cause it was just so stupid, IMO. I know I'm really nitpicking, but for some reason, it just bugged the crap out of me.
