We need a better nickname for the insurance industry--give your suggestions here!
I mean, if the pharmaceutical industry is "Big Pharma"(and we owe a world of thanks to John Le Carre for giving us that one)the insurance industry needs a catchy slagging phrase of its own.

So far, All I've come up with is Big Deductible. I'm sure folks here can think of better.

20. Step right up! Only three shots for $5!
My, my, you look like you can easily make this basket and win the giant teddy bear! (You got someone in mind for that gift? Why, I bet you got plenty of folks just knockin' down your door at all hours of the night, nudge, nudge)

Now, go right ahead and make your best shot ... oh! Well, no worries, you get two more tries!

Why just this morning, I had a little old lady come in--not much taller than four feet she was--hit all three baskets, with nary a blink!

Come on now, you're not going to let a little old lady do better than you at this silly game, now are ya!?

44. Ticks. (Actually, middle man is best)
Edited on Sat Jul-25-09 07:34 AM by mmonk
But really, I've been using middle man. It seems to be more effective on others I've found. Most people out there have not even thought of the obvious, that medical insurance is a middle man ciphering off money for profit. They have been too busy with the ideology that business is more cost effective and "efficient" than government meme.
