This is hilarious and at the same time, disturbing as hell. How anyone can get to this age and be so fucking clueless is beyond me.

Vegetable trees.

Priceless.

Edited to add the following link from HuffPo. Some of the comments are funny as hell.

1. LOL
Wow...

On the east coast, we have slaves and believe in slavery? Good to know.

Of course, her next sentence starts with "in the Bush administration, which is really good..."

And then this gem:

"They have fruit trees, and vegetable trees. That's where fruits and vegetables come from!"

Too bad they don't have the full version. I may have to go looking for it, it can only get better!

29. OK, I've been to Santa Cruz, even spent a little time there, but I had no idea
there were so many nuts.

Wow. The second vid is pretty funny. It's either get accosted by homeless people because I shaved and cut my hair or bothered by the cops cause I didn't. And apparently there are thousands of college students "whipping it out" in downtown Santa Cruz every night at 2:00 AM.

Perhaps I should go back there.

Thanks.

Edited on Sat Jul-25-09 10:30 AM by agentS
I haven't laughed this hard in years!

If I were on the city council, I would ban public comments and say "No! Y'all just...dumb! Write a letter!" If people complain, I show them the videos. Public comments is public comments, not "I'm an idiot, hear me roar!" time. You can do that on the sidewalk.

27. I've heard that usage as well and
will let that slide. What I won't let slide is "You know that stuff that lets you do the thing?" Kid actually said that to me when asking a question about a video game.

Cute thing about it is my 10 year old has picked up on doing it to the worst offenders in his circle of friends. It isn't that the 10 year old is modeling dad's behavior, it's that the 10 year old really has a need to understand what the hell people are talking about.

That not one person in the room ended up rolling on the floor laughing their asses off. This is why I can't go to government meetings - too much that comes up is just so funny, I would be thrown out for causing a disruption when I started laughing uncontrollably!

23. Probably nervous
I hope there isn't a video of me somewhere on the internet when I was interviewed by a local reporter when we touched down in Rockford, IL on our way to Boeing Field in King Co coming back from deployment.

I was nervous as hell being on camera and I went on talking about how the toilets are different here then over there when asked what was the first thing I appreciate about being back. I was also moving my hands a lot and I doubt they even showed my clip on the local news that day.

Besides from that the slavery thing makes no sense and I see the video is edited. I really hope context saves her in that regard.

The Chinese government is aware of the problem and is actively fighting it, if you believe the headlines:
