12. Spending more money than you have is not a libertarian policy.
the problem with California is when the times were good they spend like crazy without ever considering what would happen when the good times ended. Living within your means and saving for a rainy day are not libertarian policies - they are simply good governance.

15. Well then, which party was in charge if not the libertarians?

16. "Parties" is the word you are searching for
California is a bi-partisan cluster fuck. And it has nothing to do with political ideology.

4. One of my co-workers may have to quit her job to care for her severely disabled young son
She's the main "breadwinner" in the family. Funding for in-home care has been cut. :(

5. No.....
We are still in the hands of Arnie the idiot. Ever have a nightmare that wouldn't end? That's Arnie; and it is also boring in the extreme. You know exactly what is going to happen next, but you can't stop it. We are another shining example of the "success" of the conservative philosophy.

8. Libertarians are uber conservatives....
No taxes, only the rich and healty can survive. If you lose your job or get sick and you don't have lots of money you can starve or die because it isn't "fair" for the smart rich people to have to help anyone down on their luck.

9. Libertarians are Republicans who want to smoke pot and profit off of Socialist infrastructure.
Hypocritical twits

13. Thanks.....
That's Arnie to a T, but whenever I hear the word Libertarian I think of Lyndon LaRouche, who I believe had something even a little more sinister going. He was in addition to everything else an isolationist who hated gays, women and people of other races. He was described in the 1970s as a "fascist elitist," and advocated a dictatorship comprised of Libertarians to rule over Industrial Capitalists.

At least we know that Arnie does not dislike women. At least he does not dislike groping them.;)

10. Be patient. The trainloads of Libertarian Magic Dust are on the way...
...but unfortunately the nanny-state US gov't hasn't coughed up enough stimulus dough to repair the tracks yet, so they are behind schedule.

Don't worry, though. As soon as the Libertarian Magic Dust arrives everyone will suddenly discover the thrill of Enlightened Self-Interest(tm) and all will be jake!

For real!!

I'm series!!1!!

And by the way, I have an ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED weight-loss remedy for sale to a selected few lucky customers...

No? How about my GUARANTEED EFFECTIVE penis-enlarging techniques... Only $199.99, payable in advance-- c'mon, you know you wanna.

persuasively,
Bright

11. Nope. It's still a corporate friendly state and we just get to live in it and provide
the tax dollars they don't have to pay.
